National and International Competitive Program

Epic Fencing Club’s National and International Program is designed for foil fencers competing at the highest levels. This program focuses on advanced training and preparation for national and international competitions. Fencers in this group are expected to be disciplined, self-motivated, and fully committed to their athletic development and competitive goals

Schedule

  • Tuesday: 7:00 – 9:00 pm
  • Wednesday: 5:00 – 6:30 pm (Open Fencing)
  • Thursday: 7:00 – 9:00 pm
  • Friday: 5:00 – 7:00 pm (Open Fencing)

    Note: Additional practice sessions for advanced fencers are scheduled as needed based on the tournament calendar and training needs, and will be communicated by the coach.

Program Structure

  • Fencers representing countries from all around the world train in conjunction with EPIC Fencing’s Advanced Fencers.  Fencers must be nationally or internationally ranked in order to participate within this program.  Alternatively, a minimum ranking through the USFA of a ‘B’ rating is required in the absence of a national or international ranking. 
  • This class is led by Coach Dmitri Romankov. 
  • The program has an extensive training session with games, drills, organized fencing, and sometimes mock competition.
