Professional Program
Epic Fencing Club offers something that few fencing clubs offer, a professional fencing program. Our professional foil program is for national and international fencers and operates in conjunction with SCAD Fencing. Fencers at this level are expected to be disciplined and self-motivated, while being nationally and internationally competitive.

Schedule
- Tuesday: 7:00 – 9:00 pm
- Thursday: 7:00 – 9:00 pm
- Friday: 6:00 – 8:00 pm (Free Fencing)
- Saturday: 10:00 – 1:00 pm
Program Structure
- The Advanced Foil program trains alongside SCAD’s Varsity Fencing program. Fencers representing countries from all around the world train in conjunction with EPIC Fencing’s Advanced Fencers. Fencers must be nationally or internationally ranked in order to participate within this program. Alternatively, a minimum ranking through the USFA of a ‘B’ rating is required in the absence of a national or international ranking.
- This class is led by EPIC Fencing Club’s head coach, Dmitri Romankov.
- The program has an extensive training session with games, drills, organized fencing, and sometimes mock competitions.
